Responsibilities

Set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes

Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Fusion

Interpret engineering drawings and ensure tight tolerances

Manage daily operations, schedule production, and ensure workflow efficiency

Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications

Optimize machining processes to increase productivity and reduce waste

Guide and train less experienced machinists as the team grows

Oversee routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues

Oversee stock levels, procurement, storage, and tracking to ensure efficient production and minimal waste

Required

Minimum 5+ years of CNC machining experience in a production or job shop environment

Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a machine shop setting

Proficiency in CNC programming (Fusion or similar preferred)

Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading

Strong knowledge of tooling, tool selection, tool setups, feeds and speeds

Ability to work independently and take initiative in building out a new machine shop

Ability to Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
