Responsibilities

Provides aeronautical domain expertise in support of Jacobs projects and contracts

Applies a high level of aeronautical data experience to evaluation, design and implementation of mission planning products, and to aeronautical data quality investigations

Responsible for technical support to assigned Program/Project

Interfaces with customer representatives at all levels to understand complex systems requirements

Translates complex systems requirements to developers and software engineers

Participates in evaluation and assessment of Mission Planning products

Prepares and presents technical briefings to customer management and staff

Assists in preparing proposals, project plans, quotations, white papers, and process improvements

Investigate aeronautical data issues, analyze impacts, and develop solutions

Automate manual tasks related to processing and analysis of aeronautical data

Plan and conduct aeronautical database load tests in lab environment and on-aircraft

Required

Knowledge of DAFIF, ARINC-424 or similar aeronautical data specifications

Knowledge of aircraft, weapons, mission planning, and military air operations

Experience with rotary or fixed wing flight operations

Must be a US Citizen

Clearance Required Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, US DoD Secret or Higher

Minimum Years of Experience Required – High School Diploma and at least fourteen (14) years of related experience, or BS degree from an accredited school and at least eight (8) years of related experience, or a MS degree from an accredited school and at least seven (7) years of related experience
