Birlasoft is a consulting company seeking a Lead Consultant who will be involved in the planning, design, implementation, upgrade, or maintenance of software systems. The role requires leading a small team, managing client interactions, and ensuring the delivery of quality solutions based on client requirements.

Responsibilities

Use core domain knowledge for a particular industry/ domain to support business growth and delivery

Provide sales support through participating in solutioning for RFP’s

Understand and utilize the understanding of business processes in different customer contexts

Provide SME expertise and lead a given implementation/ development independently or with minimal supervision

Lead/ support the creation of technical/ functional specifications based on client asks

Support delivery at all stages- from pre sales to execution, by supporting/ owning the creation of collaterals and documentation of the business processes as per client/ internal requirements

Own and review solution and delivery of small modules based on the project scope

Work collaboratively with technical teams, ensure the new system reacts in the manner that the client intends it to

Use expertise in workflow configuration, security etc. to ensure robust design

Basis the nature of the project (support, upgrade or implementation), provide thought leadership to technical and other teams as required

Adopt, communicate and enforce industry and internal quality standards

For systems documentation, ensure best practices are practiced

Ensure testing that support an optimized data environment

Ensure adequate handover to client teams at the closure of the project

Build and maintain client relationships

Lead the functional workstream for a few modules or an entire track (e.g. P2P) and create project documentations/ review collaterals with the support of consultants/ technical teams depending on the scope of the project

Build internal competencies within chosen functional area by staying updated with industry and technology products and trends

Support creation of industry use cases and thought leadership in functional areas

Ensure adequate Knowledge Management for internal teams

Write white-papers, PoVs and represent the organization in Industry events to demonstrate thought leadership
