Responsibilities

Passing SAFE exam, obtaining the required state mortgage originator licenses
Obtaining and or/ maintaining applicable state and NMLS licensure, or renewing your NMLS license within the time period determined and communicated to you by the Company
Analyzes applicant information to determine whether the customer qualifies for a beneficial loan program
Assists customers in discussing financial objectives and goals and, once licensed will take the initial loan application
Clearly communicates the loan program terms and benefits available to the customer as well as the loan process
Ensures all required documents are returned and disclosures are signed in a timely manner
Follows our sales process and QA requirements to remain compliant
Continually meets and/or exceeds the Sales KPI’s set by Management
Is responsive to customers’ needs and expectations
Has excellent communication skills and is clear, concise, and professional when speaking with customers
Is eager to develop knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines
Has strong knowledge of mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines
Maintains a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures
Requires flexible scheduling (weekends and late nights)
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required

High School Diploma required
At least one (1) year of mortgage sales experience working as bank loan officer or in similar role
Home Loan Consultant must pass the NMLS SAFE exam within the first 30 days of this role
