Responsibilities

Be responsible for implementation of business unit strategies
Externally, promoting a common understanding Commercial Aircraft Aftermarket capabilities throughout various markets
Provide marketing analysis as appropriate to help guide continued refinement of business unit strategy roadmaps
Be responsible for supporting the execution of near-term and long-term new business development plans for the Commercial Aftermarket
Assist in increasing and protecting Moog’s market share, expanding Moog’s scope of supply, and broadening Moog’s customer base globally
Support the development of new business strategy in conjunction with other Commercial Aftermarket team members
Understand all aspects of the air framer / customer, its business, strategy, culture and decision-making process
Coordinate and communicate with Moog subsidiaries on sales initiatives and opportunities
Research, analyze, recommend and execute new business development initiatives to create increased revenue opportunities for the Business
Provide insight to business unit directors in support of development of pricing and relationship strategies regarding new commercial aftermarket business opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Aircraft Industry experience with new business development
Proven specific capabilities in selling, relationship building, negotiation, contract development, contract management, market, and business plans
Possess a collaborative, energetic style dealing with both success and failure evenly
Ability to execute the sales plan together with recognition of strong travel requirements to assure success is necessary
Proven ability to work closely and constructively with other sales professionals to represent the needs of the customer within Moog
Travel: Approximately 40% travel (Domestic and/or international)

Preferred

Knowledge and experience in Commercial Aircraft Aftermarket field preferred
