Service Technician Lead - Phoenix AZ

Responsibilities
Survey all potential new service accounts along with new equipment at current service accounts
Manages key accounts: Communication with customers and the Sales team with any changes or needs
Route management with service coordinator
Training and meetings with service techs
Maintains equipment – Ladders, drills, safety gear for techs
Coordinate Truck Maintenance works to go in for service
Risk/Safety mitigation
Quality control checks in field
Work order updates if data is incorrect
Coordinates with other departments for inventory, scheduling etc
Make initial contact with the person in charge when arriving on site and explain the day's work
Install HVAC filters in various types of air handlers
Perform visual inspections of each unit during the service
Take notes of any deficiencies and forward it to manager to contact the customer
Have the paperwork signed
Make deliveries and pickups when necessary
Must be a team player, able to work w/ others
Travel is required for out-of-town services, service quotes and training
Assist with warehouse activities related to service
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
HVAC technical Certification from accredited school
Experience with hand tools
OSHA 10 or above required
5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC
Surveying
Safety Training
High School diploma
Must have transportation to the branch
Must be able to climb ladders and work in heights
Able to lift 25+ pounds as needed
Experience working indoors and outdoors
Experience driving 16ft box trucks
Feel comfortable working with hand tools
Valid driver's license
Clean driving record
Must be able to pass a DOT Physical Examination
Basic math skill is needed to be able to figure percentages and to verify figures
Must be able to communicate w/ customers and co workers
Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is partially indoors and partially outdoors
Must be aware of people walking in front of oncoming forklift
Safety glasses are required at all times to protect against dust and particles
Closed toe shoes and long pants are required. Sleeveless shirts are prohibited in the warehouse and production areas
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to stand and reach with hands and arms
Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
Must be able to withstand both hot and cold atmosphere depending on weather conditions
Able to climb all types of ladders
Not be afraid of heights
Preferred
Forklift driver experience is preferred
