Senior Civil Project Manager

Core States Group designs, builds, and manages programs and projects across North America. As a Senior Civil Project Manager, you will manage a variety of Civil Engineering projects from conception to completion, coordinating with various engineering departments and ensuring client communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects with multiple clients simultaneously, while ensuring that timelines are met and communicated
Serve as the lead point of contact for clients
Manage the financial performance for projects including profit and efficiency evaluations and managing accounts receivable
Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts with clients and sub-consultants
Manage project plans including allocating resources, preparing and monitoring project budgets, and scheduling within project parameters
Identify design criteria and oversee an efficient design and plan preparation
Solve design problems using engineering calculations and following general design standards
Coordinate with internal disciplines and external project team
Manage, develop, and mentor Project Engineers and Project Designers
Follow QAQC practices and procedures while continuing to look for opportunities for improvement of quality and efficiency
Responsible for fostering continued client relationships and looking for avenues of growth with those clients
Participate in new client pursuits
Demonstrate an understanding of constructability and complex design and identify liability issues related to design and construction
Able to provide risk assessment on projects, estimate potential risks along with costs and probabilities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
8+ years of Civil Engineering Project Management experience in site/civil production, preferably with commercial projects such as retail, hospitality, and/or fueling
MS Office Required

Preferred

P.E. would be a plus, but not required
Experience with or willingness to learn Civil3D, TR-20, TR-55, HEC-1, HydroCAD, Hydraflow, HEC-RAS, and WaterCAD for site development
