Qualification
Required
Native Japanese-speaking legal professionals based in Japan
Deep understanding of Japanese law
Bilingual communication skills in Japanese and English
Translate, interpret, and synthesize complex legal concepts
Ensure region-specific laws, procedures, and terminology are accurately represented
Write fluently in both Japanese and English, maintaining legal precision and nuance across languages
Offer insights into the Japanese legal system
Work with reviewers and peers to refine materials, validate accuracy, and align content with established legal standards in Japan
Native-level fluency in Japanese with strong written and spoken English
Advanced degree in Law
2-6+ years of practicing law in Japan
Strong writing, analytical, and communication abilities with attention to legal accuracy and cultural context
Preferred
Experience with assessment or rubric development
Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts (not required but beneficial)
