Responsibilities

Climbing and working on communications towers for the purpose of installing, replacing
Complete required Pro-Tel and customer daily reports as required
Lead and document the daily job task safety analysis (JTSA)
Ability to successfully perform, sweep, PIM and OTDR testing
Complete PPE Inspection
Ability to follow assembly instructions, proper tool use, donning of harness, climbing
Ability to read and interpret the drawings and use the information contained
Complete setup of a capstan hoist, hoisting operations using different rigging
Use and care of hand tools
Respect the hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and
The ability to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with 50 lb. load
Analyzing situations accurately and adopting an appropriate course of action
Good written and oral communication skills
Recognize safety hazards, perform Job Task Safety Analysis (JTSA) and perform duties
Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical

Required

To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
3+ years of industry experience previous tower climbing experience
Possession of a valid driver license
Requires travel and overnight stays for extended periods of time
Climbing and working on communications towers for the purpose of installing, replacing
Complete required Pro-Tel and customer daily reports as required
Lead and document the daily job task safety analysis (JTSA)
Ability to successfully perform, sweep, PIM and OTDR testing
