TelCom Construction is a company focused on providing telecommunications solutions. As a GIS Drafter/Designer, you will create and maintain digital maps and spatial data while collaborating with the design and project management teams to ensure efficient construction processes.

Responsibilities

Create, modify and review technical drawings, GIS/CAD maps and plans based upon customer requirements

Create and provide revised GIS/CAD drawings and maps based on feedback and markup. Maintain drawing and map files and documentation

Plans, designs, prepares GIS/CAD maps and drawings and obtains permits, pole attachment and/or pole loading agreements (PTAs) for new or existing underground and aerial cable routes

Reviews field notes to provide engineering overlay and appropriate engineering and construction notes

Engages daily with the company design team, GIS team, as well as in-house project management staff to ensure customer congruency and construction efficiency

Maintains safe working habits and conditions per company policy

Other duties as assigned
