Responsibilities

Have previous Telecommunications experience a must

Oversee engineers and coordinate with customers and clients

Be familiar with outside plant engineering concepts (e.g. copper cable, fiber optic cable)

Determine routing of copper and fiber cables

Provide administrative and field support for the outside plant and provisioning process

Interact with on-line computer systems that VERIZON requires

Complete all required forms and documents

Utilize telecommunication planning techniques

Have knowledge of PC applications and the mechanized support systems

All other duties as assigned

Required

Previous Telecommunications experience is a must

To be 18 years of age or older

Authorization to work in the United States for this company

HS diploma or equivalent

To live in the Northern Virginia area for site meetings

Understanding of the complete network, including outside plant portion, digital switching, digital cross connects, digital carrier and fiber technologies

Knowledge of PC software package tools, including word processing (i.e. Word, Excel, and Power Point) and all on-line computer systems that VERIZON requires
