This role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and optimizing operational processes to enhance efficiency and quality, using data-driven methodologies and mentoring other engineers.

Responsibilities

Identifying, analyzing, and optimizing operational processes within the organization to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity

Using data-driven methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement tools to streamline workflows, reduce waste, improve overall performance, and develop strategies for improvement

Mentoring other PI Engineers, providing training and guidance

Leading cross-functional teams to design and implement process enhancements, monitor outcomes, and ensure the sustainability of improvements

Working closely with department leaders and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals

Creating detailed reports and presentations to communicate process improvement findings, outcomes, and recommendations to senior management

Required

Bachelor's Degree required

5 years of experience required in process improvement engineering and mapping

Preferred

Industrial Engineering preferred

Lean Six Sigma, Rapid Improvement, Reengineering, Process Redesign, CQI, Business Development, Benchmarking, Productivity Improvements, Technology Breakthroughs, Prosci preferred

Experience with workflow redesign, labor management and productivity, change management, Vizient benchmarking, project management, and data analysis preferred
