Responsibilities
Lead and support the release of information team by overseeing ongoing quality, productivity and efficiency
Assist with planning, and direction of the HIM release of information workflows
Work in conjunction with the other departments, agencies and Novant Health Privacy office
Onboard, train, and coach new team members while fostering engagement and accountability
Enforce policies, address performance issues, and promote a positive, inclusive, and productive work culture
Qualification
Required
RHIA or RHIT licensure required
Associate Degree
1+ years of supervisory experience with RHIA credentials, OR 2+ years supervisory experience with RHIT credentials
1+ years of experience in a healthcare related field (such as acute hospital, Q10, Fiscal Intermediary, or CMS)
Experience working in medical records with notable accomplishments and/or record of successful progression in responsibilities
Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing
Preferred
Bachelors Degree
Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS) licensure
A track record of positive team member engagement and advanced experience with Microsoft Suite technology
