They are seeking an Intern in Financial Planning & Analysis to support the FP&A team by providing analysis and insights to drive informed decisions, improve financial performance, and assist in managing the P&L.

Responsibilities

Assist the FP&A team with monthly sales and P&L reporting, analysis, and planning

Provide support to business partners through the monthly actuals and budgeting processes

Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to finance and business teams. Extract and analyze data from multiple datasets

Drive continuous improvement through developing and maintaining reports and processes

Assist with ad-hoc projects and other tasks as needed

Qualification

Required

Available to work a minimum of 30-35 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months

Available to come onsite to the NYC office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

0-2 years prior experience in a financial role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Very strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, LOOKUP, SUMIF, etc

Able to quickly learn new systems and tools

Curious, with the desire to constantly learn

Highly driven, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment

Analytical and has strong problem-solving skills

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Able to organize and prioritize workload while managing to meet deadlines
