Entry Level Environmental Scientist I

ESE Partners is seeking a highly motivated entry level Environmental Scientist to join their Corrective Action team in North Texas. The successful candidate will apply their educational background to real-world situations while learning essential business skills and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team on various Environmental Remediation projects.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
Perform site visits and inspections to identify potential environmental concerns
Manage the installation and sampling of soil borings, temporary monitor wells, and permanent monitor wells
Prepare detailed and comprehensive Phase II ESA reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations
Author technical reports in accordance with the ASTM, TCEQ and RRC Guidelines
Manage and interpret laboratory analytical data
Ensure all assessments are completed within project timelines and budget constraints
Stay updated on industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices for environmental site assessments
Manage aspects of client accounts and approve subcontractor invoices
Collaborate with other team members and departments to support project objectives
Perform other project duties, as assigned

Qualification

Environmental Science degreeEnvironmental sampling experiencePhase II ESA knowledgeGeographic Information Systems (GIS)Analytical skillsReport writing proficiencyProblem-solving skillsCommunication skillsInterpersonal skillsTeamwork ability

Required

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in report writing and documentation
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site assessments

Preferred

Experience with environmental sampling and analysis
Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Knowledge of Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and remediation processes
