Responsibilities

Inspect and diagnose equipment to identify faults, malfunctions, or maintenance needs
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on various types of equipment, including but not limited to hydraulic systems, engines, electrical components, and mechanical systems
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure longevity and minimize downtime
Disassemble and reassemble machinery and components for repair or replacement of parts
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex issues
Document all repairs and maintenance tasks accurately and maintain detailed service records
Test repaired equipment to verify proper functionality and performance
Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams regarding equipment status, repair timelines, and recommendations
Assist in maintaining inventory of parts and supplies needed for repairs

Required

Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role, preferably in equipment repair
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, electrical circuits, and mechanical components
Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment
Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy equipment and perform manual tasks
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training is a plus
