Responsibilities

Provide advice covering solvency, economic capital, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring and risk control, financial modelling, underwriting, new legislation, and the efficiency of claims or reporting processes
Help analyse the impact that new regulation will have on an insurance company’s balance sheet
Revise businesses’ projections and make sure they have adequate reserves
Assess financial and business impacts, build implementation plans, and implement relevant requirements, particularly across areas of financial and actuarial reporting
Work with clients from the insurance industry, banking sector, healthcare sector, public sector, and corporate clients from the non-financial services sector

Required

To have achieved 120 UCAS points/32 IB points excluding General Studies and one of these subjects should be Maths
