Responsibilities

Lead and review the tax compliance process, demonstrating deep technical understanding of hedge funds, private equity funds, carry vehicles and SPVs
Fully understand how tax positions and reporting impact the entire fund structure and affect investor outcomes
Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal technology teams to enhance efficiency and implement process improvements across the tax function
Excellent project manager with the ability to manage across the entire team
Excellent communications skills. Articulate, persuasive, and tactful. A natural inclination and ability to keep superiors, colleagues, and appropriate external constituents well informed
Motivated to challenge the status quo and lead initiatives that improve and streamline the tax compliance process
Intelligent, analytical and pragmatic — able to balance high standards with practical execution

Required

CPA
7-10 years' experience
Public accounting or private industry experience
Strong subchapter K experience for hedge and private equity funds
Background in aggregation and carry allocations
Excellent project manager with the ability to manage across the entire team
Excellent communications skills. Articulate, persuasive, and tactful. A natural inclination and ability to keep superiors, colleagues, and appropriate external constituents well informed
Motivated to challenge the status quo and lead initiatives that improve and streamline the tax compliance process
Intelligent, analytical and pragmatic — able to balance high standards with practical execution
