Child Psychologist-Jordan's Principle Services
Shared Health is inviting applications for part-time to full-time Child Psychologists for their Jordan’s Principle Indigenous Community Services. The role involves providing psychological evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning for children, with a focus on community engagement and collaboration with pediatricians and other partners.

Responsibilities
Provide psychological evaluation for diagnosis and treatment planning
Conduct general neurodevelopment assessments for preschool and school-aged children
Engage in community visits for communities within driving distance, as well as to fly in/remote communities
Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from a CPA or APA accredited training program
Completion of a CPA or APA accredited Internship/Residency
Registered or eligible for registration as a C. Psych by the Psychological Association of Manitoba www.cpmb.ca
Education, training and experience in child & adolescent clinical psychology and family systems
Education, training and experience in diagnostic evaluation and cognitive and/or developmental assessment, including the administration and interpretation of standard psychological tests and measures applicable to children
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, oral and written communication, and inter-professional teamwork skills
Satisfactory results of pre-employment criminal record, vulnerable person and child and adult abuse registry checks are required
Preferred
Training, experience, and interests in Indigenous health an asset
Commitment to the spirit of Jordan's Principle, with training and experience in working with indigenous families and communities with willingness to engage in additional training and consultation for this work
