Financial Analyst/Manager

Responsibilities

Collaborate with project teams to prepare accurate budgets and forecast manpower needs for multi-year programs
Perform weekly budget vs. actual analysis, identify variances, and address with project managers
Establish and maintain cash flow forecasts, ensuring that the project remains cash-positive
Ensure monthly complex billing submissions are accurate and timely
Track contract reconciliations and changes to reflect accurate financial data
Conduct efficient Key Project Reviews (KPR) to monitor project financials and performance
Lead procurement planning efforts by collaborating with project teams to develop detailed plans post-award, ensuring compliance and logistical requirements are met
Ensure procurement is completed according to plan before 20% job completion and perform monthly analysis of purchased vs. planned budgets
Enter orders into the CMS system promptly
Create work orders in the system for scheduling service operations
Generate and submit monthly billing for assigned projects in alignment with invoicing terms and conditions
Resolve billing concerns to ensure invoices are paid on time
Post invoices in both the customer’s system and the company’s accounting system
Prepare data for monthly reports and participate in weekly project meetings
Monitor contract compliance and ensure customer reporting aligns with billing requirements

Required

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of relevant experience, ideally within construction or similar industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
A self-starter who is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and capable of working independently
Proven ability to perform budgeting, procurement planning, and cost analysis for large-scale, multi-year projects
