Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain detailed financial models for infrastructure cost, efficiency, and return on investment
Build and manage datasets that integrate financial, engineering, and operational metrics
Support the development of cost models, rate cards, and chargeback processes
Prepare financial analyses and performance reports that inform leadership decisions
Lead in scenario modeling, forecasting, and sensitivity analysis across compute, storage, and network platforms
Collaborate with corporate finance and engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, model consistency, and financial transparency
Proactively identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization
Continuously improve tools, templates, and processes to enhance the team’s analytical capabilities

Required

5+ years of relevant experience within a Finance team, with exposure to forecasting, fiscal planning, cost allocations, and core accounting principles
2+ years of experience with cloud services and infrastructure platforms, including deep exposure to public cloud (AWS, GCP) and private/on-prem environments
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related quantitative field

Preferred

5+ years of experience with cloud services and infrastructure platforms, including deep exposure to public cloud (AWS, GCP) and private/on-prem environments
Strong understanding of core finance principles—budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, standard costing, and ROI analysis
Proficiency in Excel and SQL with the ability to organize, clean, and analyze large datasets
Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to data accuracy
Curiosity and motivation to learn cloud, infrastructure, and capacity economics
Collaborative and proactive, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, data centers, networking, compute & storage
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, or similar)
Exposure to on-premises and 3P public clouds, and FinOps (financial operations)
Experience supporting financial modeling or forecasting within technology, infrastructure, or operations teams
Enthusiastic learner with a growth mindset and a desire to build a career at the intersection of finance, data, and cloud strategy
