Responsibilities
Provide first-line support for employee HR inquiries (policies, benefits, payroll) and escalate more complex questions to senior staff
Assist with new hire onboarding, including background checks, documentation, and orientation support
Help maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS system
Support payroll and compliance tasks by gathering information, checking timecards, and assisting senior HR team members
Assist with training tracking in the Learning Management System (LMS)
Help coordinate employee engagement programs and recognition initiatives
Provide general HR administrative support (employment verifications, ticket responses, scheduling, documentation)
Partner closely with senior HR staff to learn and gradually expand your responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Demonstrates eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft 365
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Friendly, empathetic, and eager to learn, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
Is aware of standards and performs in accordance with them
Preferred
Previous HR experience is preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field experience preferred
Experience within a Hospital and/or Healthcare environment preferred, not required
