Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor in Computer Science and Software Engineering
The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a non-tenure-line faculty member for the Computer Science and Software Engineering Department to begin in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses, develop curricula, and engage in departmental activities, contributing to the academic mission of the programs.

Qualification
Required
A minimum of a master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field is required by the appointment start date
Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to high-quality teaching and student engagement, with the potential to contribute to research and applied projects
Preferred
Industry experience is highly valued, though not required
Areas of expertise may include computer theory, systems design and programming, introductory and intermediate programming in Python, Java, C++, or C, as well as specialized areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud deployments, or game development
