Regional Sales Representative

The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for selling DataMyte products and services by developing and directing sales efforts toward finding, closing, and growing business with key customers and prospects within key accounts or territories.

Responsibilities

Prospect, develop and grow book of business/pipeline within defined accounts or vertical markets by a mix of cold-calling, email campaigns, and referrals, using existing client database, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and other methods
Deliver DATAMYTE’s value proposition using a consultative, solution-selling style
Prepare and deliver high level demonstrations of products and services for client and prospects with and without support
Focus on economic value for both DataMyte and prospective client by using market research, product collateral and other tools
Develop senior level relationships with clients and prospects through personal meetings, presentations, and quarterly business reviews
Generate client awareness and preference for incremental and new products and services by cold-calling, networking, developing/sending promotional materials, authoring articles, presenting in business forums and/or DataMyte client events, etc
Recommend which opportunities DataMyte should pursue using filtering criteria and business acumen, such as: probability of winning, resources weighed against revenue potential, competing projects, short-term and long-term goals, etc
Develop and author presentations, proposals, economic business cases using MS Office and other tools to advance the sales process
Perform and record in CRM (Salesforce) tool the required minimum average number of prospecting daily activities (calls / emails)
Maintain pipeline reporting, provide written updates, and forecasted wins and commitments to the satisfaction of management at all times
Contribute to the Company’s products and services by actively participating in customer satisfaction efforts and providing input and support to improve customer satisfaction; identifying, developing and implementing methods that produce continual improvements to systems and productivity

Required

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
Three years related solutions selling or value selling methodology applied to territory
Three years selling to manufacturing companies with demonstrated contacts inside manufacturing process leadership
Minimum 5 years of selling technology and/or services
Demonstrated performance above sales quotas in a fast-paced environment
Experience with building relationships with and selling to manufacturing and IT executives within a committee selling approach at all supporting levels of an organization
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations as applied to sales pursuits
Ability to write and deliver proposals and business cases to an executive audience
Ability to work with spreadsheets and concepts, such as: return on investment, probability and capacity planning in software and services delivery scenarios
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations inside and outside MS Office, Excel, and other CRM tools as tied to sales process
Knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office – high focus on PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, WebEx or similar online meeting toolkits
Experience using CRM Salesforce system for maintaining all information related to clients and opportunities
Familiarity with prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo, Aircall, Linkedin, or equivalents
Ability to define problems, collect information, derive value statements and needs of the customer to formulate business proposals and sales campaigns and ultimately set priorities and manage time
