Researcher – Market Intelligence & Sales Support

Robroy Industries, Inc. is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Researcher to join their team. This role is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and communicating market, customer, and channel intelligence to support the sales organization and drive new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

Research targeted industries and projects to identify and qualify potential accounts, contacts, and opportunities
Manage and document the sales research process through detailed notes, reports, and follow-ups using CRM and other platforms
Coordinate with the sales team to deliver market intelligence, analytics, and reports that enhance strategy and decision-making
Qualify and advance project leads from discovery through the information build-out and qualification stages
Execute assigned campaigns with measurable outcomes to maximize sales velocity and utilization of sales resources
Verify and critically analyze incoming market information from internal and external data sources, including:
Project subscription platforms
CRM systems
Contact search software
Google and AI tools
Outbound research calls
Maintain accurate documentation of department processes and ensure appropriate team members are trained and cross-trained
Adhere to and maintain knowledge of ISO processes, procedures, flowcharts, and the company’s quality policy

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Research, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in market research, sales support, or business intelligence role
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Experience using project subscription tools
Knowledge of manufacturing, construction, or industrial markets
