Responsibilities
Oversee and enhance the firm’s CAT and TRF reporting workflows, ensuring complete, accurate, and timely submissions
Maintain compliance across regulatory requirements, including ATS-R filings, Fair Access, and Reg SCI obligations
Support regulatory examinations and data requests, providing traceable, well-documented reporting evidence
Create test plans and test cases to validate software functionality to ensure requirements are met
Support and enhance manual and automated quality control testing tools
Support and modify existing compliance reporting jobs within Python
Qualification
Required
Background in compliance technology, trade surveillance, or data governance
4+ years of programming experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably within Python, VB, C, R, etc
3+ years of experience with regulatory reporting (CAT, TRF, ATS-R, etc)
2+ years of software Quality Control / Quality Analyst experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strict deadlines
Preferred
FINRA Series 7 and/or other related licenses
Knowledge of FIX protocol testing or order simulation frameworks
Experience with order entry tools, for example VeriFIX
Familiarity with Jira and Git for ticketing and version control
Experience with Validus's Eventus Technology
