The role involves testing, troubleshooting, and advanced rework of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic products, requiring strong soldering skills and technical expertise.

Responsibilities
Perform routine testing, troubleshooting, and repair of defective PCBs
Conduct visual inspections to IPC-A-610 workmanship standards
Execute soldering and de-soldering using SMT tooling and advanced hand soldering methods to IPC-7711/7722 standards
Perform advanced rework of surface mount and fine-pitch components, including BGA rework
Operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, RF power meters, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers
Set up and reload SMT machines (Feeder, Tray, and Tube Loading)
Maintain inspection logs and records of malfunctions
Provide technical guidance and informal training to lower-level operators
Assemble experimental circuitry or prototype models
Analyze and interpret test data; recognize failures and setup issues
Assist with special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Electronics training equivalent to two years of technical trade school or military technical school, or six+ years of experience
Experience with SMT, fine-pitch, and extra fine-pitch soldering
Knowledge of component polarity, color coding, and part identification
Familiarity with production equipment and processes
Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital circuits down to the component level
Current knowledge of POP, BGA, QFN, and 0201 packages
Strong soldering skills
Technical expertise
Ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment
