Senior Product Development Engineer - Microwave

The Senior Product Development Engineer will support product development of microwave and communication products, leading system design and development from concept to launch while ensuring compliance with industry standards and providing technical guidance to junior engineers.

Responsibilities
Conduct analysis and testing to ensure product performance and reliability
Must have strong knowledge and hands-on experiences in µWave/mmWave measurement techniques and test equipment
Provide product development expertise, leading system design, development, and implementation of new products from concept to launch
Design and develop required test hardware from concept to production for the new products
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product design meets customer needs and requirements
Create technical documentations such as test plans, product datasheets, user guides
Independently evaluate, select, and modify standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
Flexibility to work on a variety of projects with various levels of difficulty
Develop and maintain project work breakdown structures, schedules, and budgets
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Continuously improve product development processes and methodologies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Minimum 5 years of work experience
Knowledge of the basic concepts of analog RF and microwave electronics
Strong knowledge of RF engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in CAD software (PCB layout tools, Cadence Allegro) and other relevant engineering tools
Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred
Knowledge of the basic concepts of analog RF and microwave electronics
Hands-on experience of using instruments in the lab
Coursework or exposure in one or more of the following Digital Signal Processing, Wireless Communication, Digital Communication, RF Systems, RF Circuits
Excellent analytical skills: critical thinking, problem solving and data analysis
Familiarity with the use of programming/scripting tools such as C programming, Python, LabVIEW a plus
Good initiative and motivation in a challenging environment
Strong team worker within multi-discipline and multi-cultural environments
Self-motivated and fast learner with strong technical, analytical and communication skills
