3+ years expESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Materials Testing Senior Engineering Technician to perform field testing of construction related materials including but not limited to soils, concrete, grout/masonry, and asphalt. The role involves conducting routine and advanced field tests, documenting observations, and communicating effectively with project staff and construction teams.

Responsibilities
Perform routine and advanced field tests in accordance with ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, DOT or other standards
Perform and document observations of construction
Review and understand project related drawings and specifications
Communicate effectively with ESP project staff and project construction team
Report observations and test results through ESP’s field data collection software
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED, or Associate degree required
Three or more years of experience in construction testing of soil, concrete, masonry and/or asphalt materials
ACI Field Grade I Certification
Nuclear Density Gauge Safety Certification
Effective oral and written communication skills
Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy
Preferred
NICET, DOT, and other applicable Certifications will be considered beneficial in the role
