Senior Developer
Credence is a technology company that supports clients' mission-critical needs with advanced solutions. They are seeking a Senior Developer to lead large-scale digital modernization efforts for Department of Defense systems, providing expert knowledge in lifecycle sustainment and ServiceNow application development.

Responsibilities
Formulate and define specifications for complex software applications and maintain/modify existing systems using manufacturer utilities and engineering releases
Design software, hardware, and communication architectures to meet enterprise and cross-functional requirements, ensuring compliance with DoD open systems standards
Lead efforts in program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation for mission-critical systems
Provide in-depth software systems programming and analysis, including advanced file maintenance, telecommunications networks, and scientific/mathematical software packages
Apply expertise with MicroStrategy or other BI platforms for analytics, data modeling, and dashboard design to support mission operations
Implement modern security solutions such as blockchain and cryptography to harden system designs
Direct, mentor, and review the work of task personnel, ensuring quality assurance, adherence to standards, and project deadlines are met
Identify, assess, and present options for system improvements, including hardware/software upgrades and emerging technologies
Evaluate new and existing software products; ensure systems remain efficient, sustainable, and aligned with mission requirements
Work closely with project management to define project schedules and technical direction
Qualification
Required
Expert-level knowledge of lifecycle sustainment
Experience in design, customization, and enhancement of ServiceNow applications
Ability to build workflows, integrations, and user-facing solutions
Compliance with DoD security and sustainment standards
Technical leadership experience
Directing junior developers
Formulating and defining specifications for complex software applications
Maintaining/modifying existing systems using manufacturer utilities and engineering releases
Designing software, hardware, and communication architectures
Leading efforts in program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
In-depth software systems programming and analysis
Expertise with MicroStrategy or other BI platforms for analytics, data modeling, and dashboard design
Implementing modern security solutions such as blockchain and cryptography
Directing, mentoring, and reviewing the work of task personnel
Identifying, assessing, and presenting options for system improvements
Evaluating new and existing software products

Providing expert-level support in sustainment lifecycle management activities
Analyzing functional requirements and designing scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions
Enhancing applications to reduce operating time and improve efficiency
Developing and supporting REST/SOAP API integrations
Preparing program-level and user-level documentation
Conducting functional testing, regression testing, and debugging
Implementing and managing security models and role-based access controls
Providing guidance and technical direction to junior ServiceNow developers
