Responsibilities
Detailed review of Tax Returns and projections, including trusts, individuals, non-profits, investment partnerships and operating businesses
Prepare file memos supporting tax positions
Collaborating with internal teams on various strategies and liaising with outside providers
Providing leverage and support for Tax Director and Tax Managers
Drafting notice responses to Federal and State taxing authorities
Reviewing the performance of outside providers as part of the larger team, and being vocal on recommendations and escalations
Working on special projects as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
At least 2 Years minimum working at a public accounting firm, family office, or adjacent exposure law firm
Exposure to a variety of tax returns
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and collaborative environment
Preferred
CPA Certification preferred
