Responsibilities
Manage and optimise Azure resources, ensuring efficient scaling and reliability of cloud-based infrastructure
Contribute to the internal Cloud Portal and custom modules in C#, and ensure the smooth deployment and integration of features
Support customers and internal teams, including incident management, to resolve operational issues and minimise downtime
Work with a variety of tools, including Azure (AKS, SQL, Storage Accounts, Azure Functions, and other cloud services), Terraform, and Kubernetes
Qualification
Required
Experience across cloud infrastructure, application development, and operations
Experience writing production-quality C# and/or TypeScript code
Experience with cloud services, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Ability to apply concepts like dependency and extensibility with support from your team
Enjoyment in automating builds, tests, deployments, infrastructure, and operational tasks
Enjoyment in solving problems in the domain of distributed infrastructure
Participation in a 'you built it, you run it' culture with guidance from senior engineers
Ability to work independently, motivating yourself to do high-quality work on time
Enjoyment in collaborating with other people to solve problems
Results-oriented focus on iteratively delivering valuable things to customers
