Responsibilities

Design and implement software that make uses of our unique camera hardware
Deploy, test, and optimize these apps on mobile devices
Collaborate by writing documentation, engaging in code review, and commenting on design documents
Engage with other teams (product, engineering, marketing) to design and deploy software that supports our goals as a company

Required

Currently has or in the process of obtaining a BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field
Strong programming skills in C or C++
Experience with software engineering best practices (testing, version control, code review)
Background in building and deploying applications for embedded systems (through coursework or previous projects)

Preferred

Familiarity with image processing fundamentals
Experience with ARM-based systems and performance optimization (e.g. NEON, DSP)
Prior work with Android & related tools (e.g. Android Studio) and mobile development
Understanding of camera sensor interfaces and hardware abstraction layers (HAL)
