Responsibilities

Assist the engineering staff with test setups, execution, and teardown
Occasionally travel to external test facilities to set up and/or execute tests
Fabricate test fixtures, make wiring harnesses and support other lab activities
Operate a forklift (training will be provided, if needed)
Maintaining lab inventory for consumables
Maintaining a clean lab environment

Qualification

High-voltage electrical testingBuilding wiring harnessesBuilding test-standsOperating power suppliesEnvironmental testingMachine shop experienceAutomotive experienceTroubleshooting chambers

Required

High-voltage electrical testing experience
Operating bi-directional power supplies and electrical loads
Building special wiring harnesses from scratch; including soldering, crimping, etc
Building test-stands and test-fixtures

Preferred

Experience with environmental, thermal and structural testing
Operating and troubleshooting environmental chambers
Machine shop experience - welding, machining, etc
Automotive experience
