The Environmental Project Scientist- Air Quality/Emissions will conduct testing projects to assist clients in developing air quality improvement strategies and demonstrating emissions compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

Conduct critical testing projects for air quality improvement strategies

Measure air emissions directly from industrial sources or assess ambient air quality near these sources

Operate Continuous Emissions Monitoring mobile labs following EPA or ASTM Test Methodologies

Interact with clients and regulatory officials, anchoring the test team in the CEMS laboratory

Required

A BS or AS degree in Environmental Science, Physical Science, Electronics Technology, or related fields is preferred

Technical High School graduates with electrical/electronic and mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of air emissions testing and leadership experience

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Ability to learn technical sampling techniques

Ability to work outdoors at elevations

Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs

Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills
