Responsibilities

Host and Produce Content: You’ll lead conversations that make complex ideas clear, compelling, and worth sharing. You’ll plan, script, and host at least two episodes per week, and coordinate frequent livestreams

Source and Build Relationships with Guests: You’ll identify, book, and build relationships with founders, investors, and researchers shaping your corner of the crypto ecosystem — bringing their insights, stories, and ideas to life for your audience

Prepare and Shape Each Episode: You’ll draft outlines, identify timely topics, and weave in Blockworks data, topical news, and original insights to craft engaging and informed conversations

Collaborate with Your Show Team: You’ll work closely with your producer, editor, and operations teammates to refine titles, thumbnails, and episode descriptions, and provide clear and timely feedback on edits and social clips

Grow the Show: You’ll partner with our Head of Content and distribution team to define and execute a growth strategy — setting KPIs, tracking performance, and driving downloads, engagement, and audience expansion. You’ll support the brand’s social accounts to ensure tone and style align with the show’s voice, and document best practices across the team to help all of our shows thrive

Build and Leverage Your Personal Brand: You’ll grow both your own profile and the show’s reach through authentic engagement on platforms like Twitter and Telegram by sharing smart, timely takes and engaging with the conversations that matter

Expand Reach and Brand Impact: You’ll lead external promotion efforts including securing big-name guests, landing exclusives, coordinating cross-promos, and pitching the show to conferences, media outlets, and distribution partners. You’ll collaborate across Blockworks to strengthen sponsor relationships and represent the brand at live events, conferences, and listener meetups

Required

Deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem, its narratives, builders, and rhythm

Credibility through hosting, reporting, or producing content in the crypto space

Ability to engage an audience and drive meaningful discussion

Experience in making complex technical or financial topics clear, relevant, and entertaining

Sharp instincts for what makes a conversation worth having

Experience in building and growing engaged audiences through podcasts, YouTube, or social media

Preferred

Demonstrated thought leadership in the area of crypto through research, writing, or public commentary

Experience with live broadcasting or a background in media, especially on camera

Strong relationships across the crypto community
