Responsibilities

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain interactive and paginated reports with Power BI Report Builder

Migrate existing SSRS reports to Power BI Report Builder

Create and maintain complex data-driven subscriptions for report delivery

Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and engineers to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Optimize and enhance existing reports for performance, usability, and scalability

Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support reporting needs

Integrate reports with data sources, including Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks

Perform thorough testing and validation of report logic and data accuracy

Manage and support the report deployment lifecycle across development, staging, and production environments

Ensure proper documentation of reporting assets and data lineage

Provide mentorship and support to junior report developers

Monitor reporting infrastructure and provide Level 2 support for report failures and data issues

Adhere to best practices in report design, security, and version control (e.g., Git)
