Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for Salesforce, incorporating advanced architecture principles, AI-driven features, and Agentforce automation aligning it with business objectives and driving innovation
Oversee the architecture, design, development, configuration, and customization of the Salesforce environment (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc., as applicable)
Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of the Salesforce platform
Manage relationships with Salesforce and related AppExchange vendors
Develop and manage the Salesforce platform budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource utilization
Establish governance policies and best practices for architectural design, coding standards, and AI integration
Lead the evaluation and implementation of new Salesforce features and functionalities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to design intelligent workflows and automated processes using AI and custom development
Ensure data integrity and governance, including AI-driven data quality checks and predictive insights
Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce releases, trends, and best practices
Develop and implement the organization's QA strategy and methodologies for the Salesforce platform and related integrations
Establish and maintain QA standards, processes, and tools to ensure the quality of Salesforce deployments
Oversee the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
Lead and manage the QA team, including test automation engineers and manual testers
Implement and manage test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage
Define and track key quality metrics and report on testing progress and results
Ensure thorough testing of all Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations
Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner
Foster continuous improvement using machine learning models for defect prediction and release risk analysis
Design release processes that incorporate Salesforce DevOps best practices, automated pipelines, and AI-driven deployment validation
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of Salesforce releases across different environments
Establish and maintain release calendars and communicate release schedules to stakeholders
Manage the release process, including code deployment, configuration changes, and data migrations
Implement and utilize release management tools and best practices to ensure smooth and efficient deployments
Identify and mitigate risks associated with Salesforce releases
Coordinate pre- and post-release activities, including testing, validation, and communication
Ensure proper change management procedures are followed for all Salesforce deployments
Analyze release metrics and identify areas for process improvement
Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful releases
Drive innovation by introducing AI-powered tools for QA, release management, and Salesforce optimization
Develop and manage team budgets and resources effectively
Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews
Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to Salesforce, QA, and release management
Communicate effectively with executive leadership and other stakeholders on the performance and roadmap of the Salesforce platform, QA efforts, and release schedules
Participate in the development and execution of the overall IT strategy
Ensure Salesforce, QA, and release management practices align with business goals and objectives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in managing and leading Salesforce platforms, QA teams, and release management processes, with progressive leadership responsibilities, including architectural design and custom development
Deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and the Force.com platform
Proven track record in AI integration within Salesforce, leveraging Agentforce and Einstein AI
Expertise in Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test automation frameworks, and release management best practices
Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
Experience managing and developing high-performing technical teams
Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively

Preferred

Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Administrator, Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Certified Service Cloud Consultant) are highly desirable
