Simetrik is looking for a mid-level WordPress Developer responsible for the ongoing maintenance, optimization, and evolution of their platform. This role involves collaborating with the Marketing, Design, and SEO teams to implement new templates and ensure technical quality and performance of the website.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update WordPress versions, plugins, and the base theme
Develop and implement new pages, templates, and blocks within the existing development environment
Manage the site’s multilingual structure using WPML
Accurately replicate design files (Figma, Adobe Suite) into WordPress while maintaining performance and brand integrity
Build optimized landing pages weekly, aligned with campaigns and conversion goals
Oversee plugin configuration, security, backups, performance, and general technical monitoring
Ensure responsive and cross-browser compatibility
Partner with the SEO team to implement technical tags, metadata, and structure
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and apply maintenance patches as needed
Document technical updates and version changes

Required

3+ years of proven experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites
Proficiency in: PHP, HTML5, CSS3 / Sass, JavaScript / jQuery
ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)
WPML (multilingual configuration)
Plugin integrations and management
Foundation / Bootstrap frameworks
Git / GitHub
Strong understanding of performance optimization and WordPress security best practices
Experience working with predefined designs (no visual design required)
Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Jira, Zendesk, etc.)
Attention to detail and accuracy when replicating designs
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables
Clear communication with non-technical teams (Marketing, Design)
Proactive problem-solving attitude
Accountability in meeting tight deadlines
