Responsibilities
Plan, design, and execute IT infrastructure and systems projects, including network upgrades, server migrations, cloud deployments, and security initiatives
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to align project goals and technical requirements
Configure and deploy hardware, software, and networking components across client environments
Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues during implementation and transition phases
Provide post-project documentation, user training, and knowledge transfer to ensure smooth handoffs
Scope the safeguarding of company and client systems from data loss, attacks, and vulnerabilities
Develop, update, and enforce IT security policies and best practices
Monitor systems for compliance, patch management, and backup integrity
Lead new client onboarding and support for industry-specific software
Maintain ongoing customer satisfaction and strong communication post-project
Research and recommend emerging technologies that align with company and client objectives
Maintain IT asset inventory and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for internal processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in IT engineering or project implementation
Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and cybersecurity
Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
Familiarity with MSP tools such as ConnectWise, CEOJuice, and FMAudit
Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, PMP, CCNA)
