Responsibilities

Examines and diagnoses plant equipment to correct operating difficulties including filling and packaging machines, lyophilization and support equipment, stoppering and closure machinery, labeling, packaging and finishing equipment, conveying, transferring and materials handling equipment

Perform preventive maintenance to include lubrication, cleaning, servicing, inspecting, and testing of equipment in accordance with maintenance procedures

Disassembles, cleans, lubricates, repairs, and reassembles equipment in need of overhaul or as part of a preventive maintenance

Replaces or repairs frozen or worn bearings, broken or worn parts, leaking supply lines and/or systems, gears, shafts, drive sprockets, chains, valves, belts, electrical or mechanical systems, hydraulic drives, and/or control systems

Assist in validation of new equipment and re-validation of existing equipment as needed

Records, files, maintains and makes readily available all records, logs, parts' lists, suppliers' lists, work records (both performed and to be performed), stock records, manuals and/or all other required maintenance records and/or files relating to all plant operating equipment

All other duties as assigned by manager
