The intern will assist the WDS team with various operational, maintenance, and facility improvement projects while gaining exposure to the financial services industry and working on innovative projects.

Responsibilities
Assist the DTCC WDS team in various operation, maintenance, and facility improvement projects
Track site operational metrics, including energy consumption and operation/maintenance effectiveness
Coordinate and monitor project schedules, oversee deliveries and installation, help monitor construction activities, review construction documents and support team meetings of architect, engineers, contractors, internal design team and multi-departmental users
The intern will have exposure and input for facility improvement projects that enhance energy use efficiency, resulting in an overall reduction in DTCC’s Carbon Footprint
Qualification
Required
Candidates must be working towards a bachelor's degree in the following curriculums: Architecture, Engineering or related field of study
Candidates must have authorization to work permanently in the US without the need for sponsorship (now or in the future)
Candidates must have minimum of a 3.2 GPA
Must demonstrate superior analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Communications skills, including written, oral and presentation
Strong interest in the financial services industry, with previous internship experience a plus
Ability to read architectural and engineering building drawings
Familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD program
