Responsibilities
Lead technical accounting research and provide clear guidance on emerging GAAP, SEC, and statutory requirements
Partner with business leaders to assess the impact of new accounting standards and implement solutions that drive compliance and efficiency
Consult on complex transactions, including M&A and investment strategies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Develop and deliver training to finance teams, fostering knowledge and best practices across the organization
Monitor industry developments and proactively recommend policy enhancements to support strategic growth
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in technical accounting or policy management
Deep knowledge of GAAP, SEC, and statutory requirements
Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
CPA certification required
Proven ability to build business partnerships and deliver results in a hybrid work environment
Preferred
MBA a plus
Experience in healthcare, insurance, or investment accounting
