Manufacturing Engineering Tech - Forge 2nd Shift (Onsite)
Pratt & Whitney is transforming the future of flight by designing, building, and servicing unique engines. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to provide engineering support for production operations, including troubleshooting and process support within the forging business unit.

Responsibilities
Provide engineering support for production operations including process support, troubleshooting, machine setup, and root cause analysis within the forging business unit
Collect and analyze data to identify adverse trends and improvement opportunities
Obtain and maintain knowledge of forging techniques and processes for manufacturing
Interpret requirements to develop and maintain processes to manufacture parts and tooling to engineering drawing requirements
Assist in electronic work instruction update and creation for manufacturing use
Interpret manufacturing inspection data to ensure product meets engineering requirements
Be able to work in a team environment. Be able to handle multi-tasking duties
Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
5 years technical experience
3 year manufacturing experience
Experience troubleshooting manufacturing processes or machines
Preferred
Forge operating and setup experience
2 year technical certificate or associates degree
Proficient in MS Office Suite
