Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems that support all shared services at Uniswap Labs
Write high quality and well tested code, and review code from other team members
Provide guidance and technical leadership to peers in navigating architectural and coding tradeoffs
Take charge of driving strategic technical initiatives across engineering pods that impact the entire engineering organization
Improve developer productivity and system reliability through automation and best practices

Qualification

Required

6+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure
Proficiency in TypeScript, Go, or Rust
Excellent coding skills, deep understanding of AWS cloud constructs and architecture, algorithms, and strong debugging capabilities
Design, build, and maintain a large-scale production system on the cloud, ensuring smooth operation and high availability
Be able to build systems from the ground up, in a 0→1 fashion
A passion for building scalable, reliable systems that enable high-quality feature development

Preferred

Experience or a strong interest in infrastructure-as-code tools (Pulumi is a plus)
Experience with distributed systems, authentication, and developer tooling
Degree in computer science
Background in blockchain or DeFi
Love for unicorns :)
