Responsibilities
Administer and sustain operating systems and software for large cloud-based systems
Develop, integrate, and test software to provide encryption/decryption services within a cloud environment
Work with Hadoop (HDFS, MapReduce), Pig, and Hive to process and manage large datasets
Integrate cloud components with IC GovCloud services, ensuring high availability and scalability
Work with NoSQL technologies such as HBase and Accumulo to support Big Data storage and processing
Design and develop Object-Oriented systems, focusing on performance and scalability
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience with Java programming language
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or 4+ years of equivalent experience)
Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and MapReduce programming
Strong experience in developing solutions with NoSQL databases (HBase, Accumulo, MongoDB)
Experience deploying applications in a cloud environment and understanding cloud scalability
Expertise in data serialization formats like JSON and BSON
TS/SCI FSP clearance
Preferred
Hadoop Cloud Certification And Experience With Apache Nifi
Experience in developing and deploying automated analytics and data-driven software solutions
