Compliance Specialist, Senior
Cook Children's Health Care System is one of the country's leading integrated pediatric health care delivery organizations. The Senior Compliance Specialist will support the compliance program activities, focusing on clinical/billing compliance and data analytics, while also assisting with policy development and compliance investigations.

Responsibilities
Assist with and support the compliance program activities of the organization
Support the planning, education, assessment, testing/monitoring and other compliance program functions
Focus on clinical/billing compliance and data analytics
Assist with policy and procedure development and maintenance
Monitor hotline and conduct compliance complaint investigations
Manage physician relationships and conflicts of interest
Conduct interactions with industry and risk assessments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Bachelor's degree should be in business related field, but can be in health related field
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience in health care compliance and demonstrated expertise in the areas of billing/coding and data analytics
Individual needs health care experience, preferably in the compliance area
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
This individual will have reporting responsibilities that require routine use of software packages such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred
Master's preferred
Certification in billing and/or coding by either AAPC or AHIMA strongly preferred
Compliance certification by HCCA could be considered an appropriate substitute under the right circumstances
