Troy University is seeking a Prospect Research and Data Analyst to support their fundraising efforts through in-depth research and data analysis. The role involves gathering and interpreting data to identify potential donors and enhance campaign planning in collaboration with the Development team.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive prospect research to identify new major gift prospects and assess giving capacity
Analyze internal and external data sources to provide actionable insights on donor trends and engagement patterns
Prepare detailed prospect profiles and briefing materials for fundraisers and leadership
Develop and maintain prospect scoring models and segmentation tools to prioritize outreach efforts
Collaborate with Development Officers to support pipeline development and campaign initiatives
Generate regular and ad hoc reports on fundraising metrics, donor activity, opportunity activity and action reporting
Assist in data cleansing, validation, and system optimization to ensure accurate and reliable information
Stay current on best practices in prospect research, data analytics, and philanthropic trends

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and accuracy skills
