Responsibilities
Make regularly scheduled tests on revenue metering equipment
Investigate radio and television interference complaints
Develop oscillograph records
Make reports and tabulate data for maintenance records
Work with and assist Technicians of higher grade
Work on telemetering devices and supervisory and automatic control devices ... does not include independently checking out the telemetering, supervisory or automatic control systems of which the devices are a part
Continue to maintain active interest in this type of work, and through readings and study, shoud keep abreast of progress in electrical technology related to the work
Qualification
Required
2 year technical degree (AAS) required
2 years experience as Technician B, or equivalent experience
Knowledgeable in progress in electrical technology, related to work at NYPA
