Responsibilities

Maintain tools that monitor the overall performance and availability of the operating fleet (primarily battery storage, but also wind and solar)
Assist in developing and implementing advanced analytics to proactively identify failure modes and provide operations with actionable insights
Support field operations with equipment testing and data collection; interpret results and provide recommendations
Participate in detailed analysis and investigations during equipment failures or other underperformance issues
Support data needs for budgeting, spare parts management, and other operational tasks
Improve KPI (key performance indicator) reporting tools and dashboards

Required

Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, math, or equivalent certification/training
Minimum of two (2) years experience in data analytics or operations at power plants (wind, solar, BESS) is a plus
Basic knowledge of data visualization tools and platforms (e.g., Power BI, Grafana, Databricks)
Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python
Basic understanding of electrical equipment and calculations
Ability to travel to sites in Texas and California
Strong commitment to personal and workplace safety
Action-oriented, self-motivated, able to lead a team or work independently, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions, and implement solutions
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with high accuracy
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, and project management systems
